ClariVein® is a revolutionary procedure which treats the cause of Varicose Veins, quickly, effectively and simply when compared to traditional procedures. In clinical terms ClariVein® is known as a endovenous Mechanochemical Ablation for Varicose Veins. (MOCA). This proceedure has been the subject of evaluation by NICE and the results for the treatment of Varicose Veins using MOCA were reported in May 2016. Traditional Varicose Vein treatments usually require multiple injections into, and around the affected area. These multiple injections can cause significant discomfort and pain and result in subsequent unsightly bruising.
The unique ClariVein®reatment requires only one single puncture injection site, allowing for a virtually pain free experience. A single injection is more cofortable for the patient and results in minimal bruising and lasting results. With ClariVein® there is no heat required in the process which reduces the risk of potential nerve damage.
During the proceedure a ClariVein® catheter is inserted into the vein under Ultrasound Guidance. The tip of the catheter then rotates, causing the vein to go into spasm. At the same time a special chemical is sprayed into the problem vein which effectively seals it, preventing the Varicose Vein from returning.
The ClariVein® process for one leg normally takes about 25-30 mins and the patient is able to leave generally being able to walk and drive resuminmg normal activities very quickly.

There is no VAT payable.
The inital Consultation and Duplex Ultrasound cost of £99.00 is non-refundable should the patient decide not to pursue, or be deemed clinically un-suitable for subsequent ClariVein® treatment.
The £1400.00 treatment price is applicable to treatment for Varicose Veins with ClariVein® only, and not any other alternative treatment proceedures on the market.
Consultation and proceedure fees are to be paid before treatment.
The patient is entering into a contract for this proceedure with Mr Jaffer and Axiom Medical Ltd.
